Participation in artist-led workshops can foster students’ appreciation of Singapore’s rich cultural heritage. Students can try their hand at creating a ceramic work and learn about the historical role of dragon kilns. Alternatively, they can explore Therukoothu, traditional Tamil Street opera which involves a unique blend of Tamil Cultural Music, Dance and Drama. Through such workshops, students can explore art forms that celebrate the diversity of cultural practices in Singapore, Southeast Asia and around the world.
