Programme Synopsis Drawing on years of expertise in professional cartooning and illustration, we've developed a unique programme that channels these engaging skills into the powerful practice of sketchnoting – a vital tool for students today. Sketchnoting, also known as visual note-taking, is the creative process of capturing thoughts and information by skillfully combining drawings, symbols, and text into organised, memorable structures. While widely used in corporate seminars and graphic communication for impactful presentations, sketchnoting is rapidly gaining recognition as a highly effective learning tool for students. It significantly improves comprehension, boosts information retention, sustains attention, and cultivates critical thinking. This programme empowers students to see drawing and cartooning not just as an art form, but as a practical skill directly applicable to their studies and presentations, reigniting their interest in visual expression. Our experienced instructor-artists will inspire students through dynamic demonstrations and structured, step-by-step exercises designed to build confidence in drawing and visual communication. Activities are carefully tailored to be age-appropriate, systematically covering foundational techniques for beginners while providing advanced coaching for those with more experience. No prerequisite skills are required – only a willingness to explore and learn!
