Programme Synopsis Programme Overview: This hands-on programme is specially tailored for schools with audio-visual CCAs, aiming to equip students with essential and practical skills to independently operate their school’s sound and PA systems. Designed with immediate application in mind, this training empowers students to seamlessly integrate their newfound knowledge into weekly school events, assemblies, and productions. Having trained over 30 production crew members and 20 interns, our team brings with it extensive experience in delivering full-scale production support for thousands of weddings and corporate events. Our expertise has been trusted by renowned performing artistes including ShiLi & Adi, John Lye, and many more. This ensures that students will not only gain foundational knowledge, but also be mentored under real-world industry standards. Beyond technical proficiency, the programme places emphasis on safety protocols, effective communication, and teamwork—critical components of a successful production team. Each session is customised to reflect the school’s existing PA setup and typical event scenarios, following a preliminary site recce. This ensures relevant and contextualised learning. Students will be exposed to: Cables, microphones, stands, DI boxes, audio mixers (analog and digital), speakers, monitors Introduction and operation of soundboards: setting gains, EQ levels, balancing low-to-high frequencies Key production roles and responsibilities within a team Stage and venue layout planning: speaker positioning, mixer placement, cable pathways Power planning and safety Loading, lifting and proper posture Connecting devices (smartphones, laptops, instruments) to the mixer Full system testing and troubleshooting Delivery Formats: This programme is available in both LIVE and DIGITAL formats: LIVE Version: Schools may opt for an on-site programme or an excursion to a professional studio where students will experience what it’s like to be part of an actual event crew. DIGITAL Version: Delivered synchronously via platforms such as Zoom, YouTube or Vimeo, this includes live-streamed demonstrations, interactive Q&A sessions and real-time engagement. Asynchronous options with live interaction segments via Zoom are also available for flexible learning. Guided by seasoned professionals from the events and audio production industry, students will gain not only technical know-how but also valuable soft skills—laying a strong foundation for those aspiring to pursue a future in production, events or entertainment.

All sound system and equipment will be provided the school. However, schools can allow instructors to use provide an external PA system at an add on cost.
The Tote Board Arts Grant was introduced in 1995 to
encourage the development of a vibrant arts culture in schools, and to promote
arts appreciation amongst students.
Each year, all MOE schools and ITE Colleges may opt-in to
receive the Arts Grant. Schools may use the grant to subsidise the purchase of
programmes under the NAC-AEP and for the Artist-in-School Scheme (AISS).
All approved programmes are listed on the NAC-AEP
Directory and come with a valid Letter of
Eligibility.
To purchase this programme, contact the representative

Please ensure that a valid Letter of Eligibility (LOE) is
obtained. Note that MOE procurement guidelines apply.
Payment should be made directly to the programme
provider. Claims for the Arts Grant should be made via IFAAS and in accordance
to Grant Guidelines.
Programme providers are
permitted to make changes to the following aspects of an NAC-AEP, according to
the school’s needs:
- Programme duration, including no. of sessions
- Cost of programme
- Class size
Under the above conditions,
schools can make claims based on revised programme costs using the same
Programme ID listed on the Letter of Eligibility (LOE).
The following changes
are not permitted when customising programmes:
- Changes to content
- Inclusion of non-approved instructor(s)
