Programme Synopsis Live Caricatures! is a popular art assembly show which our TV artist partner, Oistein Kristiansen and our company have run in Singapore for many years. is designed to challenge the audience to be creative and fun in their drawings of people Each performance can cater to 1,600 students or more, ranging from primary and secondary schools to tertiary institutions. Drawing styles will vary according to age group. Students will be inspired by our senior artists to explore ways to draw expressive faces and to look at basic shapes of faces and how to exaggerate features. There will be live audience participation, on-the-spot caricature challenge for our artists, and even for the volunteers from the audience. Since 2020, schools can opt for the digital version of Live Caricatures!, either pre-recorded or live on video customised to requirements of the school. We will work with the schools to have a caricature challenge competition at the end of the performance where students will be provided a Caricature Challenge with a given squiggle. Students will be challenged to draw from what they had learnt from the demonstrations. Such caricature challenges have always produced outstanding pieces by the students. Programme is available on-site or digitally via live zoom or pre-recorded. Examples drawn will be adjusted to the age groups of the students based on personalities they can recognise and also complexity of the drawings.
