Programme Synopsis Creative Rhythmic Body is a programme specially designed for young children, aged five to six, that focuses on two primary areas of dance, Rhythm and Creative movement. Experienced by hundreds of children and many preschools in Singapore, this programme develop a child's motion skills, rhythm/musicality, and creativity through six sessions. As children this age generally have a limited attention span, the programme will incorporate a series of play and interactive games to ensure that the learning experience is engaging and fun, encouraging children to be more participative and more willing to partake in the creative process. Throughout the programme, children will be encouraged to share their innovative thoughts, and express these ideas through creative body movements. Each session will consist of a short reflection/sharing time which will allow children to articulate how they feel about the lesson and what they have learned. In the last session, children will present a mini showcase for their teachers and parents, enabling the children to feel a great sense of ownership and achievement towards what they have learned throughout this course. At the end of the programme, children should: - Develop a sense of appreciation and basic foundation for dance and music. - Gain basic knowledge and understanding of creative movement. - Demonstrate improved ability in movement, rhythm, dynamics, qualities and shapes. - Acquire basic counting skills, musicality of percussion playing and rhythmic structures. - Be confident using their bodies as an expression and articulating their feelings and ideas. The outline is based on a 6-session programme. @$1500 per workshop (maximum 20 students per group) Customisation to shorter or longer programme/duration is possible. *Cost varies based on customisation. Programme Format: 1. Live - Instructor to conduct on-site 2. Digital - Instructor to conduct via Zoom 3. Blended - A mixture of on-site and zoom classes
